At VIA Athlone, our athletes gain practical experience through team training with Athlone Town AFC and local clubs. You'll participate in Regional Leagues, National Cups, and high-level tournaments, directly applying your skills in competitive environments. Valeo International Academy Athlone co-located at the Athlone Football Complex and the Technology University of the Shannon - both state of the art training facilities. Two of the most modern and versatile sports complexes in Europe that cater to the most demanding footballers, clubs, and teams.

Our players enjoy high-quality lodging at the Student Village a purpose-built, comfortable, secure, student accommodation complex. The village boasts air conditioned rooms that are designed for athletes’ comfort, recovery and performance.
Within the Sports Centre, there is a bar/cafeteria and a restaurant that caters to the dining needs of all our players. Menus are prepared by qualified nutritionists while taking into account the specific food requirements of each team member.

Athletes ages 15-19 will play and train with international academy teams adapting to European football firsthand.

A unique program for high school and college athletes that offers the rare opportunity to train and compete at the highest level while attending school in Athlone, Ireland.

Provides competitive players over the age of 17 the opportunity to train and play for a Professional Irish club.
